Year 7 Catch-up

The government will allocate additional funding in respect of each pupil who was at a maintained school in year 6 who has not attained level 4 in reading and/or mathematics.

Year 7 catch-up Premium 2013-2014

The Academy had the following students eligible in September 2013 for the Year 7 Catch-up premium funding. The Academy received ?15500.

2013-14 Intake 113 students, of which 31 eligible.

During the summer of 2013 we ran a two week catch-up programme which included numeracy and literacy.


Year 7 Catch-up Premium 2014-2015

The Academy has 33 Students eligible in September 2014 for Year 7 Catch-up Premium funding. The Academy will receive ?16500.

During the summer of 2014 we again ran a two week catch-up programme which included numeracy and literacy. Students who attended the summer school are specifically monitored on a regular basis to ensure they continue to make more than the expected progress academically.

Year 7 Catch-up Premium 2015-2016

The Academy has 19 Students eligible in September 2015 for Year 7 Catch-up Premium funding. The Academy will receive ?9500.

We have published plans to continue to run the catch-up summer programme. Starting Mon 17th August for two weeks.
